She rode everyday on her pink bike, sending messages and packages to lawyers, politicians, lobbyists and all sorts of other important people. She waited each day for the letter to come and say she got in. But the waiting was extensive. It was one of her best gigs, getting paid to watch people, avoid scattered traffic, and pumping her heart with fresh adventure. She knew this parade of sending messages was ending and but she’d be able to follow her dream that crossed several zip codes and topographies. On her final ride she saw the pink lily shining in the sun. Then, she knew her letter would come for her that day.
